Rest assured, this intriguing natural product is not made with beaver’s fat. This amazing vegetable oil is one of my favorite remedies for women’s health.
Its main asset is the ability to increase blood circulation. That’s why it’s mainly used for :
Digestion and constipation: active bowel movement;
Menstrual cramps: reduce the pain;
Liver functions: active blood circulation in the liver to enhance its work;
Hair growth: hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows;
Lymphatic circulation: active the lymphatic system that helps the movement of the toxins and can prevent the appearance of the cellulite;
Inflammation: reduce tendinitis, bursitis, cysts;
How to make a castor oil pack
What you need
Organic castor oil (hexane free);
Coton flanel cloth (can be a old t-shirt);
Plastic wrap;
Blanket;
Heated bag.
How to apply the pack
Pour the castor oil over the cotton cloth. It has to be saturated but not dripping.
Place the soaked cloth over the abdomen, the liver, or the painful area.
Cover with plastic wrap in order to protect the fabrics around you.
Place the heated bag over the plastic and cover it with the blanket in order to insulate the heat.
Sit back and keep the pack for 30-45 minutes.
Remove the pack and massage the area with the leftover oil or remove the extra with warm water.
Store the cloth in the fridge, wrapped in plastic, or in a glass container. The cloth may be reused up to 15-20 times.
It is best to do castor oil packs three times a week.
Precautions
Do not consume orally and do not apply the castor oil pack over the abdomen during pregnancy or menstruation.
